Secondly, the attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with modern fixtures and amenities that rivaled those of a 5-star hotel. Lastly, the friendly and helpful staff made me feel welcome and ensured my stay was enjoyable. This hotel offered excellent value for money and included a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and a selection of bread and pastries. I especially appreciated the comfortable mattresses on the two single beds in my room. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of comfort and service provided by this hotel.

one small hiccup - a mix up on the price of accommodation for 4. however, it was quickly resolved and the excellent comfort and quality of the guest house made it worth every penny.

Nestled in a picturesque area difficult to reach via public transport, this guest house offers a tranquil escape on a scenic canal. the rooms are modern and tidy with high-quality fittings, and the owner has thought of everything to make guests comfortable, from Sonos sound systems to fresh fruit. the breakfast includes a selection of bread, pastries and fresh fruit. the garden is a serene oasis.

One reviewer found the lighting not suitable for shaving, although the enormous magnifying mirror was helpful.

The hotel is very modern and has a great outdoor space with a beautiful view. the coffee at breakfast was complimentary, and it tasted amazing.

The lighting in the bathroom was not suitable for shaving and the soundproofing was so good that I had trouble hearing the outside when I wanted to wake up.

spotlessly clean - nicely decorated - well equipped - comfortable. The owner is very helpful and kind - even gave us a ride to the nearby city. The location is beautiful - right on a canal with a lovely garden. The breakfast is excellent with fresh fruit and a selection of bread and pastries.

We had an amazing stay at Guest House Aan De Hollandse Ijssel. the modern and beautifully decorated guest house provided us with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. the host was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. the location on the canal was picturesque and the small garden was a lovely place to relax. the breakfast exceeded our expectations, with a delicious selection of fresh fruit, bread, and pastries. We couldn't recommend this place enough!

The facilities were modern and clean, with every detail thought of, including indoor and outdoor seating areas, large screen TVs, and free coffee. The staff was welcoming and made us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and a selection of bread and pastries.

What an amazing stay! The location was perfect, just a 40-minute drive from Amsterdam, and the peaceful surroundings on the canal were delightful. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of fresh fruits and pastries. Plus, it was wonderful to have the whole guesthouse at our disposal. The modern building and high-quality fittings made us feel at home.

The only problem we had was the mattress cover, which was made of plastic and left us feeling too warm. But this was a minor issue compared to all the positives.
